Effective 12 July 2026

Boravir is an independent software studio in Australia. We collect the minimum we need to sell, license, and support our desktop applications — and nothing else. This page describes all of it, in plain language.

This website

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. We don't know who you are when you visit, and we don't try to find out.

What we collect, and when

  • When you buy: your name, email address, and purchase details, so we can create your account and issue your license. Payment itself is processed by Stripe — full card details never reach our servers.
  • When you start a trial: your email address, used to send a verification link and issue the trial license.
  • When you use our apps: licensing data needed to enforce your license — app version, activation details, and periodic license checks while the app runs. Basic device info (operating system) is kept for support and abuse prevention.

Email we send

Transactional email only: receipts, trial verification links, and licensing or account notices — sent to people who asked for them. We keep no marketing lists, send no newsletters, and never share or sell your address.

Where your data lives

On our own servers, hosted with Amazon Web Services in Sydney, Australia. We don't hand your data to third parties, with two working exceptions: Stripe processes payments, and AWS delivers our transactional email.

Questions or requests

Email contact@boravir.com for anything about your data — questions, corrections, or deletion requests. A person reads it, not a queue.
